The Lefty Specialists have been mostly on hiatus for several months now, and the people are clamoring for more content. Luckily, James and I have been hard at work on a series covering one of our favorite baseball players of all-time: Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez, known more commonly as A-Rod. Here’s a preview:
As you can hopefully tell, the goal of this series is not to convince you to love Alex Rodriguez as much as we do, but to situate him within the swirl of sports and media since 1993, and to explore how his career is a window into the various structural forces that have defined Major League Baseball over the last three decades.
