In the bottom of the fourth inning of Tuesday’s Mets/Diamondbacks game, the camera lingered on pitcher Marcus Stroman, and Diamondbacks announcer Bob Brenly said, “I’m pretty sure that’s the same du-rag that Tom Seaver used to wear when he pitched for the Mets.” His partner in the booth, Steve Berthiaume, tried to move past it, but the remark did not go unnoticed.
